Uncle Mack, Aunt Barb and Jake came to visit us last week. Among the many other things going on in our house, this was definitely the brightest of the week! It was the first time they had met Brinley. Cayden took to Uncle Mack in a matter of seconds. He sounds and looks a lot like my dad, so I think it was a natural connection. Also- Uncle Mack really played hard with Cayden. That always wins his heart... that and food- which we did later that night. Matt grilled fajitas for us, and we had lots of laughs about "passing the sack" across the dinner table. (I guess you had to be there to think it was as funny as we did.) I picked up some of our favorite "dip dips" from Chuy's. I think they quickly became Uncle Mack's favorites too because it seemed like we were always passing the sack of chips across the table.
Anyway- we really enjoyed their visit. The night wasn't over until we watched a movie with them in Matt's movie room. They love movies as much as we do, (probably more) and somehow we ended up getting the most ridiculous movie at the redbox. SUCH a disappointment!! It was sad to see them go, but we saw them later in the weekend at Ansley's party. Here are several of my favorite pics with them.
